Donations
Academy Operations: Funds are needed to support Academy operations during the first few years. Support would help fund academic coordination, facility management and maintenance.
Academy Programs: It is our desire to utilize the Academy's new 132,000 square foot facility as a place to provide outreach programs related to public safety to the surrounding communities. Youth outreach, a cadet corps program, and 21st Century Scholar collaboration are the types of programs currently being explored.
Safety Village Classroom Construction: Capital funds have been secured for the construction of a new classroom for the Safety Village Pedestrian and Fire Safety programs. Safety Village is adjacent to the Public Safety Academy and has served Allen County area school children since 1991. The former building was a double-wide trailer. Classroom and office space were cramped and a new classroom is long overdue. The new classroom and office are under construction and should be open by April, 2008.
