The Fort Wayne Police Department is presently accepting applications from citizens wanting the opportunity to be part of the "Citizen's Police Academy".
The "Citizen's Police Academy" is an opportunity for the general public to get a hands on prespective of the training, job requirements, and complexities of law enforcement. The "Citizen Police Academy" is a 10-week training program which will meet on Tuesday's from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. starting on Tuesday September 9, 2008. All classes will be held at the:
Regional Public Safety Academy (located in Southtown Center Crossing)
