IPFW is the largest, most comprehensive university in northeast Indiana with over 190 programs in which students can earn certificates, associate, baccalaureate and master's degrees. As an educational partner of the Public Safety Academy (PSA), IPFW is offering general education classes at the PSA location for students in any major. They will also have the opportunity to complete associate or baccalaureate degrees in General Studies.

The General Studies Degree Program is designed for students who wish to customize their own degree program and take courses in a broad range of subjects to tailor-fit their course work to personal interests, goals, or career needs. General Studies' graduates have used their degree to pursue further study and careers in areas such as business, public relations, medicine, law, education, and social work.
