Drug Law Enforcement Training Program (DLETP)
PRESENTED BY THE FEDERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING CENTER, OFFICE OF STATE AND LOCAL TRAINING for Patrol, Interdiction, and Drug Task Force Officers
The DLETP is a three day program intended to provide law enforcement officers with the most current information regarding enforcement strategies and responses to a variety of drug crimes that may occur in their jurisdictions. The investigation and prosecution of drug crimes by Patrol, Interdiction and Drug Task Force officers is the focus of the program. The development of enforcement strategies to counter criminal trafficking patterns are presented and discussed.

Course Description:
Taught by international recognized experts with more than three decades of combined crime mapping experience, this five day course will provide you with a complete understanding of the fundamentals of crime mapping. Using the "Watch-Follow-Do" adult learning method, and expanding on the award-winning Department of Justice CMAP curriculum, students will use their own data in addition to training data as they actually master the techniques they are shown during this comprehensive course.

Law Enforcement Training featuring Lt. Col. Dave Grossman, U.S. Army (Ret.) Director, Killology Research Group

Col. Grossman is one of the world's foremost experts in the field of human agression and the roots of violence and violent crime. He is a West Point pyschology professor, Professor of Military Science, and an Army Ranger who has combined his experiences to become the founder of a new field of scientific endeavor, which has been termed "killology". He is the author of On Killing which was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. He co-authored with Gloria DeGaetano Stop Teaching Our Kids to Kill: A Call to Action Against TV, Movie, and Video Game Violence. His most recent book titled On Combat is the sequel to On Killing. Additionally, he has been an expert witness and consultant in State and Federal courts, to include serving on the prosecution team in UNITED STATES vs. TIMOTHY MCVEIGH. He continues to train elite military and law enforcement organizations worldwide about the reality of combat.
