Hosted by the Fort Wayne Police Training Center

Taught by the Indiana Drug Enforcement Association

WHEN:  June 2 - 5, 2008

TIME:  0900 - 1600 hours

Course Description: We believe that our Surveillance School is the most comprehensive, hands-on, moving surveillance school in the country. This school was custom built to meet the needs in today's law enforcement efforts to be able to follow suspects covertly and collect evidence without being discovered. We have forged a school, unlike any school in the country, made to perfect the art of moving surveillance. Regardless of your job description, whether it is intelligence, detective, narcotics, warrants or patrol, you need to be able to follow people without being discovered. We believe that this school is unique in the fact that the student will learn from actually doing surveillance and not just hearing about it. The course is taught in the team concepts as prior experience has proven that one person alone cannot go undetected. The course will lean heavily on a hands-on set of practical exercises as well as classroom instruction in the following areas:

• Following targets covertly
• Collecting evidence without being discovered
• Maintain a still, short-term or long-term surveillance
• Using disguised radio language to avoid detection
• Using aircraft as a tool
• Urban and rural driving techniques

In addition each student will receive a 50 plus page surveillance manual with detailed information and strategies. Upon successful completion of this course each individual will receive a Surveillance School certificate. The cost of this school is $525 per person. Do not wait to register as this class has a maximum of 20 students.
